We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to collaborate with you.

Towards the Creation of Social Value

At IMO, we are dedicated to advancing the concept of Creating Shared Value (CSV). We firmly believe that high-quality research outcomes derived from our basic research endeavors hold the potential to make substantial contributions to both academia and society. By fostering innovation, we aim to garner increased recognition for our university, attract additional research funding, and generate social value through the commercialization and practical application of diverse technologies and systems.

Central to our strategy is the pursuit of increased licensing fees, the expansion of collaborative and commissioned research projects, and the acquisition of indispensable information and knowledge vital for basic research and development. Their efforts play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall worth of our institution. Furthermore, we are dedicated to accurately recognizing and comprehending societal preferences, aligning our research with the evolving needs of the community.

At Chiba University, we embody the philosophy of ‘Always Aim Higher’ across our 11 faculties, actively advancing the exploration of new academic fields through transdisciplinary approaches. This dedication propels us to make suitable contributions to the creation of social value.
