We offer academic consulting services, where our faculty members are commissioned by external institutions to provide guidance, advice, and support on specific issues. Drawing on their expertise in education, research, and technology, our faculty members deliver tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.
Our faculty members offer expert guidance and advice, based on their extensive experience in education and research. The commissioning party is responsible for covering the consulting fees.
In principle, the contract will be executed under standard terms and conditions.
In the course of providing academic consulting, commissioning parties will be responsible not only for the direct costs associated with guidance and consultation, but also for the indirect costs (30% of the direct costs) allocated to maintaining the university's research environment.
Commissioning parties are free to set the implementation period according to the contract terms. However, if research elements emerge during the process, we recommend that commissioning parties consider transitioning to a collaborative research agreement or other arrangements.
In principle, academic consulting focuses on issues that do not involve intellectual property rights. However, if intellectual property rights do arise, separate discussions will be held with the commissioning parties to determine ownership and the handling of such rights.
If you have any questions regarding academic consulting, please contact us at the e-mail address below. If you are unsure which faculty member to consult, please contact our university research administrators (URAs) or coordinators at IMO. We introduce you to a suitable faculty member in the relevant field.
